Champion of Champions

Cromer Park NEW 664

NARRABEEN sent out a warning to the rest of the teams still alive in the All Age Men’s NSW Champion of Champions after beating Kenthurst 1-0 on Sunday at Cromer Park.

With Adam Foti in scintillating form, it was Nenad Jelaca’s late goal which ended the stubborn resistance from the winners of the Gladesville Hornsby Association.

We made life difficult for ourselves, I was getting nervous heading into full time, Foti said.

I thought we started well but bombed a few chances and there was always the chance Kenthurst would grab one on the counter.

Thankfully Nenad took his goal well.

Other results saw Forest Killarneys 13s boys beat Mt Pritchard 5-4 and Avalons 14s girls thumped Greenacre 7-0.

Vince Vescios Beacon Hill All Age Ladies cruised to a 4-0 win against Macquarie United and Brookie won 4-2 in the over-45s mens versus Umina United FC.

Pittwater RSL FC lost in the 15s boys as did Seaforth’s 16/1s.

The youngsters from CC Strikers in the 16s girls also were bundled out.
