BROOKVALE’s ladies won their fourth successive MWFA Premier League grand final after beating Manly Vale A 1-0 on Sunday.

It was a typical arm wrestle, with deadly Blues striker Jemma Satchell once again the match-winner.

Her 20th minute strike proved to be the difference, in what was an absorbing 90 minute encounter at Cromer Park.

“We showed our class in our final three games,” a jubilant Brookie coach Colin Euers said.

“We beat Beacon Hill, Seaforth (in the semi-final) and then Manly Vale A, scoring 11 goals along the way.

“To also win Reserve Grade (on penalties versus Beacon Hill) was great, it shows the depth we have at the club.”

Euers’ squad celebrated at Hotel Steyne in Manly on Sunday night.
