Womens Premier League | Round 17 Review

Brookvale 664

MANLY Vale A will work on set piece defending this week at training after losing 4-1 to Brookvale on Sunday at Graham Reserve.

Brookie scored three goals from corners delivered to the far post, with Laura Euers finishing with a hat-trick after nodding home on three occasions.

Danielle Vescio scored the Blues fourth after Jo Greco gave Manly Vale A the lead.

“No excuses, Brookie deserved the result,” Manly Vale A coach Tony Bruzzano said.

“We will bounce back.”

Elsewhere, Avalon beat Manly Vale B 2-0 and Wakehurst versus Seaforth finished 1-1.

Beacon Hill, who had the bye, are still the league leaders.
