For the majority of our players, the 2023 MWFA season starts this weekend!

We’ve already seen plenty of action in the Men’s Premier League and Women’s Challenge Cup. For the rest of our leagues, this weekend is the beginning of competitive action and we’re looking forward to seeing all of you on the field.

Registrations are once again looking strong and over 19,500 players are currently signed up for MWFA clubs. This tally is expected to rise even further as more players sign up ahead of the registration deadline.

With 1400 teams and 43 venues, the upcoming winter season is set to be a busy one, but we’re sure that all of you will enjoy yourselves out there – we’re all in this because of our love for football.

The Manly Warringah Football Referees Association is also looking strong and over 600 referees are registered for this year. As with our players, this number is set to rise in the coming weeks as more registrations are finalised.

Please remember to respect referees, opponents, coaches and officials. We want to ensure the safest and most enjoyable environment possible for our members, and sport in this country just wouldn’t be possible without the countless volunteers who give up their free time to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Manly Warringah Football Association would like to wish all players, coaches, referees and team officials the best for the 2023 MWFA season.
