GOALS from Skye Ludlow and Kiah Kennedy saw Seaforth record a timely 2-1 win against league leaders Manly Vale on Sunday at David Thomas Reserve.

It was a result which leaves the title race wide open, with Beacon Hill now just two points behind Vale.

“From the word go, the girls worked hard,” Seaforth coach Mitchell Paterson said.

“We won all the 50/50 balls, the level of commitment was great.

“Basically we need to win every game to be any hope of playing in the semis, so that’s our focus.”

Other games saw Beacon Hill beat Forest Killarney 2-1, Wakehurst dusted Brookvale 4-2 and Avalon outclassed HSU 4-0.

Avalon take on Forest Killarney in a catch up game this Wednesday night at Careel Bay.
