As many as 25 students attended a recent female only referees course hosted by the Manly Warringah Football Referees Association (MWFRA) at the Curl Curl Sport Main Hall.
The day long course was conducted by MWFRA’s Jackson Mackie as well as Football NSW Academy referees Mia Velarde and Jazz Hill along with Robert Iacono.
Thanks to this course which was also aided by four female juniors stemming from the Football NSW Legacy Scholarship program, the Manly Warringah Football Association will see 30 new female junior referees officiate when the 2023 grassroots season kicks off shortly.
