Female Football Week is back for another year and will be celebrated from Friday 6 May to Sunday 15 May!
As Football NSW explains “Female Football Week is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the immense growth of women’s football at all levels of the game and acknowledge and promote the important role women play in developing football.”
With 33% of the MWFA being female participants we are excited to celebrate Female Football Week this year.
Female Football Week is designed to boost female participation at all levels of the game as well as celebrate the incredible people involved in our footballing community, particularly those involved in the female side of the game.
This initiative is a chance to recognise and celebrate the growth of female football and we look forward to celebrating Female Football Week with all of our clubs and members!
