MWFA women's Premier League round 15 review

NEWLY appointed Seaforth coach Mitch Paterson conceded it has been a ‘brutal year’ for his team following Sunday’s 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manly Allambie.

Paterson, who replaced Ash Mathieson after he chose to step aside midweek, felt Tess Olsen was the difference for the visitors.

“She is a quality player Tess, she just knows where to be at the right time,” Paterson said.

“Manly Allambie were also up for it, they wanted it more.

“It has been a tough year for us with injuries, brutal at times, but I can’t fault the effort.

“We will keep working hard until the end of the season.”
