CC Strikers remain the only side unbeaten five rounds into the MWFA Premier League after they outclassed Narrabeen 4-1 on Saturday at St Matthews Farm.
Michael Morrison (2), Jamie Brading and Sam Webber found the back of the net for the hosts in what was a clinical squad performance.
“Narrabeen started well, but we withstood the storm and jagged a goal before halftime,” CC Strikers coach Ryan Butcher said.
“We then scored again early in the second half and from there things became a bit more comfortable for us.
“It hasn’t been our best few weeks of football, so we are looking to improve as we head into a big month.
“We are happy to be top of the league, but five games doesn’t make a season.”
Other games saw Mosman brush aside win less Manly Vale 3-0, Pittwater RSL FC impressed in a 3-1 win over Seaforth, Dee Why held on to beat Wakehurst 3-2 and Brookvale won at the derby 1-0 over St Augustine’sat Graham Reserve.
