MANLY Vale clinched their first title since 2012 after a comprehensive 4-1 win against Avalon on Sunday.

The Lady Reds scored first at David Thomas Reserve, but the hosts didn’t panic, with braces from Jules Waugh and Ceri Morgan securing the silverware.

Vale co-coach Roland Winter revealed it was a good team performance with plenty on the line.

“Along with (co-coach) Tony Bruzzano, I’m delighted for the girls,” he said.

“We slipped up last week (against Wakehurst), but were good enough to bounce back.

“Hopefully now we can go on and win the grand final as well as go on a run in the NSW Champion of Champions.”

Elsewhere, Beacon Hill secured second after a 4-2 triumph versus HSU, Wakehurst outclassed Seaforth 5-0 and Brookvale versus Forest Killarney finished 3-3.
