HARBORD Seasiders United continue to win plenty of admirers for their outstanding level of commitment in 2017.

So far wins and draws have been elusive after 14 games, but the collective enthusiasm of the playing group hasn’t waned.

On Sunday they were beaten 3-1 by Forest Killarney, with Rachel Lewis’ goal the highlight for HSU.

“We’ve conceded a big number of goals this year, and we’ve learnt from every one,” team leader Phillipa McNamara said.

“We know our weaknesses, but we also know our strengths.

“Our season isn’t over and we will continue to grow each week.”

Elsewhere, Wakehurst won 2-1 against Avalon, Manly Vale outclassed Brookvale 4-0 and Beacon Hill dusted Seaforth 4-2.
