Toughest test yet for MPL Pittwater

PittRSL v Narrabeen G 150417

PITTWATER RSL FC coach Adam Israel has declared Saturday’s top of the table game versus Wakehurst at Lionel Watts will be his team’s toughest test to date.

The Tigers are in second spot, and Israel expects a torrid 90 minutes on the road.

“Wakehurst are a quality team, they have threats all over the park,” he said.

“I saw them in the (MWFA Challenge) Cup in pre-season and they looked sharp then – no doubt they will be even better now.

“We have been scoring plenty of goals but also copping a few as well – if our defence is better, we should be in the contest.”

Elsewhere, Brookvale take on Manly Vale, CC Strikers do battle with Mosman, Seaforth entertain Dee Why and Narrabeen lock horns with St Augustine’s in a replay of the 2016 grand final.
