Slow start for Brookvale WPL

WPL BROOKVALE coach Colin Euers is hoping last Sunday’s emphatic win over Harbord Seasiders United will bring his team to life.

The Blues have started their campaign slowly, but impressed in a 5-1 triumph at Allan Border Oval.

This weekend Seaforth await at Graham’s.

“We needed to win, and the girls played well,” Euers said.

“It is only one game though, we need to keep performing to stay in touch with the top four.

“Seaforth will be desperate, I’m expecting a big effort across the whole game.”

Other fixtures see Avalon host Beacon Hill, unbeaten Manly Vale take on Forest Killarney and Wakehurst do battle with HSU.
