Womens Premier League – Seaforth keen for payback

Seaforth women 664

DESPITE losing 4-1 in their season opener, Seaforth coach Mitch Paterson is adamant his team can bounce back this weekend.

They host Forest Killarney at Seaforth Oval and will be keen to make a statement.

“The (end) Beacon Hill score was harsh, we missed a penalty and a couple of other huge chances,” Paterson said.

“It is the old cliche, if they go in, it is a completely different game.

“I was happy with the attitude, we were 4-0 down at halftime, but in the second half the girls had a real dig.

“Forest beat us in the Cup also, so the girls are keen for some payback.”

Other games on Sunday see Harbord Seasiders United take on Manly Vale, Avalon host Brookvale and Wakehurst lock horns with Beacon Hill.
