St Augustines outclassed in last 2 games but ready for a change

St Aug March 2016 664

LAST week was brutal for the St Augustine’s Premier League playing group.

Outclassed 9-0 in the FFA Cup by Manly United, days later they were smashed 6-0 in the league by Pittwater RSL FC at Kitchener.

Saints coach Nick Tomaino isn’t rattled – in fact, he can’t wait for the visit of Seaforth this Saturday at Graham’s.

“I am looking forward to seeing how the boys respond,” he said.

“Manly United showed why they are leading their (state league) competition and Pittwater were on fire last weekend.

“Seaforth is another test, they are unbeaten.

“We trained well and now is definitely the time to start collecting points.”

Other games see Manly Vale take on CC Strikers, Dee Why do battle with Brookvale, Narrabeen lock horns with Pittwater RSL FC and Mosman line up against Wakehurst.
