The Manly Warringah Football Association has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Community Football Manager to join the organisation on a permanent basis to develop, co-ordinate, and manage the Coach Development programs and strategies across Manly Warringah. This role is based at the MWFA offices (Cromer Park), but will work with and visit the 16 community football clubs within Manly Warringah.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The MWFA is offering an opportunity for an exceptional communicator and Coach Developer, who will engender a culture of continuous improvement in coach education at a club level for the 20,000 registered players in the MWFA, the largest grassroots football association in Australia. The role will also support the educational needs of our Manly United NPL coaches.
The successful applicant will work within the areas of community football to provide high quality leadership, education, and support for coaches at various levels. They will also support player development pathway programs for club players of various age groups.
This role is ideal for an applicant that has gathered experience in coaching and is fully conversant with the FA coach education standards, as well as the current national player football curriculum.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Manly United Technical team, MWFA staff, the 16 MWFA Clubs, and their passionate grassroots coaches.
We have an inclusive, energetic, and driven staff and we are looking for an MWFA Community Football Manager to assist with providing a safe and enjoyable football environment for our players, coaches, referees, and volunteers.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Passion for and knowledge of football – applicants with a passion and knowledge of football is a must
- Local knowledge – an understanding of the local MWFA / Manly United ecosystem and landscape will be an advantage
- FA B Diploma preferred
- Must be an accredited presenter of the FA advanced and community courses
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in coaching and player development is preferred
- Current Drivers Licence
- Completion of Working with Children Check
