BROOKVALE have moved on from the disappointment of losing the title on goal difference – and now have Wakehurst firmly in their sights.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s semi-final at Cromer Park, Blues midfielder Danny Grant revealed the playing group have a renewed focus.

“It was tough to take, winning our last game 8-0 (against Manly Vale)and still coming up short,” he said.

“We only have ourselves to blame, we drew games earlier on that we should have won.

“We know Wakehurst will be tough – they are young, energetic and hungry.

“It will be a tough game, but I think we have enough quality in our locker to win.”

League champions Pittwater RSL FC take on CC Strikers in the other semi-final on Cromer 1.

Both games kick-off at 2.30pm.
