Forest Killarney, Mosman and Brookvale are all through to round three of the FFA Cup after enjoying straightforward victories over the weekend.
On Saturday night, Forest Killarney outclassed Lugano 10-0 at Melwood Oval, while Mosman comfortably accounted for Fairfield Bulls 4-0 at Cromer Park. Brookvale ensured an MWFA clean sweep on Sunday night after a Justin Hayward brace powered them to a 3-0 triumph over North Sydney.
Forest striker Ricky Cabrera registered four goals which secured their emphatic result alongside a brace from both Antoine Maurin and Genki Kawamura. Hayden Waters and Andrej Skulic also found themselves on the scoresheet during what was an outstanding result for the club.
It was an amazing night for all of us, Cabrera said.
The fight and intensity was there for 90 minutes so it’s hard to ask for much more.
Im very thankful of my teammates for setting me up with some incredible assists.
It was not only about our individual performances but the way we came together as a unit.
No matter who we face in the next round we hope the fight will be there again and it will be another great night.
The opponent, date and location for each clubs round three tie will be officially confirmed shortly.
