MWFA women's Premier League round 13 preview

WITH their semi-final status already assured in 2019, Manly Allambie could have been excused for having their minds elsewhere.

Coach Kyle Cannon is having none of that, declaring ‘every game is a semi-final at this time of year.’

“We have to be ruthless, it isn’t the time to pat ourselves on the back,” he said.

“I keep stressing to the girls the importance of momentum, and to their credit they have bought into everything.

“Seaforth (at Millers Reserve) will provide another good test this weekend, they are enthusiastic and fight for everything.”

If Manly Vale beat Wakehurst across the road at David Thomas, Manly Allambie will move up to third if they get the better of Chris Wood’s Seaforth.

Elsewhere this Sunday, Forest Killarney tackle Brookvale and league leaders Beacon Hill take on Mosman.
