SINCE making his MWFA Premier League debut in 2000 with Pittwater RSL FC, Peter Stegic has achieved more on the pitch than many could dream of.

Trophies have been a constant, but this weekend he will be in unchartered territory – taking on Curl Curl at Abbott Rd.

“I’ve played at most grounds, but not Abbott Road to my knowledge,” the veteran Pitts sweeper said.

“Curly are a very good team, with a few more players I think they could be challenging for the title.

“It will be a tough game for us, but we are looking forward to it.”

The Greens also wouldn’t have forgotten losing 6-2 to Anthony Seminara’s men a few weeks ago in the semi-final of the MWFA Challenge Cup on Cromer 2.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Brookvale line up against St Augustine’s in the derby at Graham Reserve, struggling Dee Why host Narrabeen, Seaforth tackle CC Strikers and Wakehurst do battle with Mosman.
