MWFA Premier League men's round 15 review

PITT 1

DEE Why’s relegation fears have slightly eased after a hard fought 1-0 win over Pittwater RSL FC on Saturday at Kitchener.

Unai Bell scored the winner for the Swans, who move to 11 points after 15 rounds.

With Mosman and Pitts both on 14 points, Dee Why’s coaching staff and playing group are confident they can produce the great escape.

“It was a very timely result for us,” Dee Why coach Ryan Doidge said.

“The lads played well, we finally have a few players who have returned from injury.

“With three games to go, we know what we have to do.”

Elsewhere, Seaforth went top of the league following a 2-1 triumph versus St Augustine’s, Curl Curl outclassed CC Strikers 3-0, Mosman beat Narrabeen 3-2 and Brookvale drew 1-1 with Wakehurst.
