MWFA Seeking Expressions of Interest for more Coaching Courses

Almost 300 coaches attended official FFA coaching courses in the region over the last 3 months, offering them the opportunity to develop their skills and pick up some ideas to help organise fun, safe and engaging training sessions.

The course was great. I got a lot out of it, put it to practise last night and the session was a success. Iain Archer

As a first time coach of under 6’s the course has given me hope that it might actually be fun and not as daunting as all the other parents make out! John Allen

Some of the ideas from the session are going well with the kids having lots of fun (and getting their head up).Was great to hear one of the parents last week say, we are really enjoying this passing thing, last year the team just booted it. Ian Dunn

This was by far the most engaging and informative session I have done in the 6 years I have been coaching or managing a team. I cannot over state enough that I leant more in the session last night than I have in all others combined. My U8’s will be all the better for it Grant Birse

I didn’t really know what to expect going into it but found it extremely beneficial and am now more motivated than ever to give coaching a go for the first time! Bede Millner

MWFA would like to thank Seaforth, Wakehurst, Avalon, Curl Curl, Mosman, Pittwater, Forest Killarney and Manly Vale for hosting.

Feedback received has suggested that many coaches missed the initial batch however, in many cases because they were not yet appointed, and so there might be enough demand to organise more in May and June.
