MWFA Premier League women's round one review

MVWPLvsForest7April2019-4014

GOALS from Sammy Taylor and Grace Tyreman landed Manly Vale an impressive 2-0 win over Forest Killarney on Sunday afternoon.

Vale looked ominous in the first half at Melwood Oval and Forest Killarney assistant coach Larry Bates conceded the girls in maroon and white will be a title favourite in 2019.

“Every team Tony (Bruzzano) coaches is well organised, and their team this year certainly look that way,” he said.

“They have been together for a while now and play to their strengths, credit to them.

“I thought we were much better in the second half, their two early goals killed us.”

Elsewhere, Beacon Hill upset Wakehurst 2-1, Manly Allambie beat Mosman 2-0 and Brookvale shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Seaforth.
