MWFA ladies Premier League round three review

BH WPL

BEACON Hill remain unbeaten after three rounds in the women’s MWFA Premier League following a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Manly Allambie on Sunday afternoon.

Right winger Nicole Saldern found the back of the net for Vince Vescio’s squad, with the away side equalising at Beacon Hill Oval late in the contest.

“Obviously I would have loved to finish up with the win and three points, but given we had so many players out for a host of reasons,I thought itwas a wonderful team effort,” Vescio said.

“I saw plenty of encouraging signs, if we start to take our chances in front of goal, I think we will be very hard to beat this season.”

Other games saw Mosman outclass Brookvale 3-0 at Allan Border Oval and Manly Vale v Seaforth played out an entertaining 1-1 draw.

As of late Sunday night, the result between Forest Killarney and Wakehurst was unknown.
