MWFA is excited to announce that it will again be hosting a Coaching Expo on Thursday April 4 at Cromer Park.
Based on feedback from over 140 coaches, we have created a program to suit the needs and address the challenges of grassroots coaches.
A range of workshops across May-July covering more topics will also be announced soon.
The schedule for the Coaching Expo will be as follows:
- 6:00pm to 7:15pm – How to teach skill (while also making training fun)
- 7:15pm to 8:30pm – How to maximise teamwork/understanding (with limited sessions, space, and support staff)
- 8:30pm to 9:00pm – Q&A on youth development
Special guests include Phil Moss (former Central Coast Mariners Head Coach and Manly United Head Coach) as well as Jimmy van Weeren (current Sydney FC NPL Head Coach and former Manly United coach).
Coaches can attend whichever time slot is most relevant or interesting to them, or stay for the whole evening. We only ask that you ensure you arrive on time for your session/s so that you dont miss out on vital information at the beginning.
