MWFA and Sydney FC will host a Westfield W-League competition game for the second successive season when Sydney FC takes on Adelaide United at Cromer Park on Thursday 13 December.

The match is expected to contain up to five current Westfield Matildas players with Lisa de Vanna, Caitlin Foord, Chloe Logarzo, Alana Kennedy and Michelle Heyman taking part as well as Manly Uniteds Ally Green, who lines up for Sydney FC.

The match kicks off at 7.30pm and will be broadcast live on FOX Sports.

The Manly Warringah Football Association had a surge in female registration in 2018 with 5,400 registered female football players, 29% of its total participants, while more than 200 female players represent Manly United in Football NSW competitions.

Every single one of those registered female players will have an opportunity to register for a FREE TICKET to the match.

Tickets are on sale now through https://events.humanitix.com.au/sydney-fc-w-league-2018-19-round-7 BUT registered female MWFA and Manly United female players can log onto the same website and redeem their free ticket using their FFANumberFirstName as a password (more information will be sent directly to all participants).

*Complimentary tickets are subject to capacity on a first served basis. All complimentary tickets are general admission. Tickets must be redeemed online prior to match, and not available at box office at stadium.

Tickets are available now from $13.50 for adults and $7 for juniors

MWFA and Manly United will run a free female football clinic (MWFA Female Football Festival) for girls aged U6-U12 at Cromer Park from 5.30-6.30pm along with activities for the kids inside and outside the ground from 6pm.

Girls from local grassroots clubs and Manly United will also take part in the match as ball girls, player mascots and half time mini game participants with all clubs invited to take part in an MWFA Club March Past for girls.

Last year more than 1,600 people attended the Sydney FC v Melbourne Victory W-League clash in driving rain with a larger crowd expected for the 2018 clash between the Sky Blues and Adelaide United.

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the strength and passion of the female football community on the Northern Beaches and we thank Sydney FC for bringing a game to Cromer Park for the second year in succession, said MWFA and Manly United CEO David Mason.

Female football continues to grow and what a great way for the girls to watch their Matildas heroes like Lisa de Vanna, Caitlin Foord and Chloe Logarzo in action than right here at Cromer Park in a competitive W-League game.

Our female participation numbers at grassroots level in the MWFA competitions (5,400) are incredibly strong and our elite program at Manly United is amongst the best in Australia so I have no doubt Cromer Park will be buzzing on December 13.
