A hat-trick from Jules Waugh saw Manly Vale beat Beacon Hill 5-4 in a jaw dropping women’s MWFA Premier League semi-final on Sunday at Melwood Oval.

In an epic encounter, Waugh scored a golden goal in extra time to book a spot in the grand final for the Roland Winter and Tony Bruzzano co-coached team.

Winter described the clash as a ‘crazy game.’

“It was certainly entertaining for the spectators,” he said.

“We managed to start well in both halves, early goals gave us a chance to control the game.

“Beacon Hill are a quality side, every time we seemed to skip away, they would score a goal.

“In the end Jules (Waugh)won it for us, we look forward to next week now.”

Rose Keating and Taylor Rand were also on target for Vale.

Wakehurst won the other semi-final in a penalty shootout following a 2-2 stalemate with Manly Allambie.
