BEACON Hill and Manly Allambie both have the chance to become league leaders when they square off this Sunday at Beacon Hill Oval.

Wakehurst (36 points) are the current yardstick, but have the bye this weekend.

Manly Allambie coach Kyle Cannon believes his squad, currently on 34 points, one behind Vince Vescio’s Beacon Hill, are peaking at the right time.

“We have no injuries, and believe we are good enough to go on and win the title,” he said.

“Our game plan will be simple -shut down Jess Wootton and Ayse Adalis.

“It won’t be easy, both are very good footballers.”

Having formed in pre-season, if Manly Allambie do go on and claim the title it would be some feat.

Elsewhere, Forest Killarney take on Brookvale and Manly Vale host Avalon.

Seaforth also have the bye.
