EXPERIENCED Wakehurst coach Donna Stuart has started the mind games early ahead of Sunday’s decider, declaring Manly Vale as favourites.

The Tigers earnt the right to play this weekend after getting the better of Manly Allambie on penalties in their semi-final.

Manly Vale also threw the form guide out the window, beating league champions Beacon Hill 5-4.

“We have been in the semis three times the past few years, it was nice to finally progress to the grand final,” Stuart said.

“Manly Vale have been building, their second half of the year has been very good.

“They have plenty of grand final experience, while we have ridden an emotional roller coaster.

“It is a big weekend for the club with the men playing Saturday.

“Two wins would be fantastic.”

Kick-off is 5pm.
