AL1/s men's round 17 review

curl curl

WITH no games in the MWFA Premier League, attention on Saturday shifted to Abbott Rd for the top of the table men’s AL/1s clash between Curl Curl and BTH Raiders.

A Michael Kember strike proved to be the difference, with the champions in green and gold still unbeaten in the league in 2018.

“It was hard fought, credit to Belrose, they are a quality side,” Curly coach Anthony Seminara said.

“I’m very proud of my team, we had a few out, but as has been the case all season, others stepped up and did a great job.

“Our aim now is to finish off the home and away campaign unbeaten, then have a big finals series.”

Elsewhere, Beacon Hill beat Pittwater RSL FC 2-1, Mosman outgunned Forest Killarney 4-1, Manly Allambie versus HSU finished all square at 2-2 and Avalon won 2-1 on the road against Brookvale.
