MWFA Premier League round 13 preview

PL 2

PITTWATER RSL FC coach Adam Israel is anticipating a much improved showing from his team when they entertain Dee Why at Kitchener.

The greens were flat last weekend, with Brookvale moving level on points at the top of the table after a hard fought 2-0 triumph on home soil.

“I was a bit surprised, we were off the pace and Brookie were up for it,” Israel said.

“If we won we went six points clear, so I was very disappointed at fulltime.

“We were hindered by the wet weather, we did pilates in the lead up last week.

“I’ve flogged the lads at training and I think you will see the true Pittwater this weekend.

“Dee Why are always tough, they have a good roster and will be desperate.”

Other games see Wakehurst take on Brookvale under lights at Cromer Park on Friday from 7.30pm, St Augustine’s tackle Narrabeen, Mosman do battle with CC Strikers and Seaforth play Manly Vale.
