BROOKVALE have drawn level on points with league leaders Pittwater RSL FC after winning the top of the table clash on Saturday at Graham Reserve.

It was a statement of intent from the Blues, who secured the victory thanks to a brace from striker Justin Hayward.

“We deserved the win, the boys were pumped up,” defender Adam Demasi said.

“It was the second time we have beaten Pitts this season which is great, not many teams do the double against them in a season.

“Our focus is now getting some revenge on Wakehurst in our next game, they are the only team to beat us in the league so far.”

Elsewhere, CC Strikers outclassed Manly Vale 3-0, Dee Why and Seaforth shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, St Augustine’s stunned Mosman 2-0 and Wakehurst dusted Narrabeen 3-1.
