MWFA Premier League men's review

2018 R1

MOSMAN are now just one point behind league leaders Pittwater RSL FC after the Whales broke Manly Vale hearts last Saturday.

The end to end contest appeared destined to finish in a 2-2 stalemate, only to see Josh Ayscough’s men steal three points with a goal heading into injury time.

It was tough on Vale, who looked odds on to finally pick up their first point of 2018.

“We are going well, this weekend against Pittwater is huge,” Ayscough said.

In what was a crazy round of results, Narrabeen have virtually assured they won’t be relegated after their shock 3-1 win against CC Strikers.

Ross Talarico’s team have now won two matches on the trot to move up to eighth spot on the ladder.

Last Friday under light sat Cromer Park, Seaforth stunned Pitts 1-0, a Jeremy Ord goal was enough for Wakehurst to topple Dee Why 1-0 and Brookvale and St Augustine’s played out a 3-3 draw at Graham Reserve.
