SEAFORTH are finally beginning to click as a unit following Sunday’s hard fought 1-0 win against Forest Killarney.

Emily Wood scored the vitalwinner at Melwood Oval, which sees Ash Mathieson’s squad cement their place in the top four.

“We have managed to win a couple of games in a row, the challenge now is to maintain that consistency,” Mathieson said.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Wakehurst moved up to second spot following an impressive 2-0 victory over Brookvale.

Manly Allambie and Manly Vale played out a 0-0 draw at David Thomas Reserve.

Monday’s games on the Queen’s Birthday public holiday were postponed, with Manly Vale in action next,squaring off against Beacon Hill on Wednesday night (Melwood, 7pm.)

Larry Bates’ Avalon are also lacing their boots, making the short journey down to Narrabeen Sports High to take on Wakehurst, with kick-off 7.15pm.
