FOLLOWING a two week break from games, Beacon Hill coach Vince Vescio wasn’t sure what to expect from his team heading into Sunday’s game versus Wakehurst.
He didn’t need to worry.
Beacon Hill turned on the style at Lionel Watts, finishing 5-0 winners.
Ayse Adalis and Jess Wootton grabbed braces, with Sam Lee also finding the back of the net.
“We took our chances early, that was the difference,” Vescio said.
“We were also compact and knocked the ball around well.
“Having a full squad to pick from always helps, I was worried we wouldn’t click, but thankfully the result followed.”
Elsewhere, Manly Allambie outgunned Brookvale 7-1, Avalon beat Forest Killarney 5-0 and Seaforth versus Manly Vale was another 0-0 stalemate.
