BEACON Hill coach Vince Vescio has predicted Sunday could be the “game of the season so far” when his team host Wakehurst.

Vescio’s ladies are the current competition yardstick, holding a nearly four point lead from the chasing pack.

Donna Stuart’s Tigers are also flying, with a last start 8-0 win against Forest Killarney.

“Wakehurst are well drilled, and have plenty of familiar faces, they have stayed together the last few years,” Vescio said ahead of the game of the round at Beacon Hill Oval.

“Coming off a huge win as well, they will obviously be very confident.

“I’m just so thankful we (Beacon Hill)have Ayse (Adalis) and Jess (Wootton), they are a dynamite combination.

“Last week we had five shots on goal and four went in, so we were clinical.

“Everyone is excited, it will be a great game and a big test for us.”

Other games see Seaforth tackle in form Brookvale, Forest Killarney entertain Manly Vale at Melwood Oval and Manly Allambie take on Avalon.
