DEE Why coach Stuart Nairn is a massive fan of Friday night games at Cromer Park – and so is his team.

The Swans, grand finalists in the 2017 men’s MWFA Premier League, take on Brookvale on Friday (April 6)from 7pmin the inaugural match of the round.

“As a club, we love the idea,” Nairn said.

“I think it is a brilliantinitiative from the MWFA to have one stand alone game each week.

“Ourguys always love playing at Cromer Park, so hopefully there is a big crowd from kick-off.”

Nairn also was happy to draw the Blues first up.

“Generally you know what you are going to get from Brookvale,” he said.

“They are always competitiveand a dangerous team.

“It will be good to see where we are at, even if it is the first officialhit-out of the year.”

Other round one games (Saturday, April 7) see Pittwater RSL FC take on Mosman, Seaforth tackle Narrabeen, St Augustine’s do battle with Manly Vale and Wakehurst lock horns with CC Strikers.
