MWFA Premier League round three review

brook v pitt 3

GOALS from Justin Hayward and Nenad Jelaca saw Brookvale beat Pittwater RSL FC 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Kitchener.

The Blues are in good touch early in the season, chalking upvictories against Dee Why, Seaforth and Pitts to find themselves equal competition leaders with CC Strikers.

Veteran Brookie defender Adam Demasi saidSaturday was a high quality game between two talented squads.

“It was a great advertisement for the competition,” he said.

“The physicality was there and the tempo was good.

“We will take plenty of confidence out of the game, beating Pitts at their place is always tough.”

Cam White found the back of the net for the Greens.

Other games saw CC Strikers defeat Manly Vale 2-1, Mosman outclassed St Augustine’s 3-1, a Matt Cooper brace was enough for Dee Why to get the better of Seaforth 2-1 and Wakehust thumped Narrabeen 4-2.
