Cromer Park to Host Semi Finals for PUMA Champion of champions

CROMER Park will host eight NSW Champion of Champions semi-final games on Sunday, starting from 9am.

At 10.15am, St Augustine’s 18/1s will attempt to win through to the big dance next weekend at Valentine Sports Park.

Standing in their way are Glenmore Park from the Nepean Association.

Saints coach Dave Anglicas is backing his squad to get the job done.

“We dont have any stars as such, it is just a well- drilled unit,” he said.

“It has been a great year, we won the league and then the grand final.

“We have only lost one game all year, so we are fairly confident.”

Forest Killarney’s 12s boys are away, playing Balmain at Arlington Oval.

The club’s 14s boys take on Kanwal FC from the Central Coast on Cromer 4 from 9am.

Wakehurst’s 14s girls do battle with Killarney District (Cromer 1, 9am), CC Strikers 15s boys lock horns with Avoca (Cromer 4, 10.15am) and Avalon’s 16s girls do battle with Northbridge (Cromer 1, 12.15pm).

Pittwater RSL FCs All Age Men are on the road, lining up against Inter Lions at Arlington Oval from 2pm and Manly Vale’s ladies from the Premier League square off against Albion Park FC at Cromer 1 from 1.45pm.

The final two games at the home of northern beaches football sees Wakehurst’s over 30 ladies play West Ryde Rovers (Cromer 1, 3.45pm) and Mosman’s over 45 men take on Engadine Eagles (Cromer 1, 5.45pm).
