Double for MPL Pittwater

PITTS WIN

AN EARLY blitzkrieg from youngsters Jonny Walker and Tom Reeves saw Pittwater RSL FC beat Dee Why 2-1 in the MWFA Premier League grand final on Saturday evening.

The win at Cromer Park saw Pitts snare the double after securing the title a few weeks ago.

Scott Christopher found the back of the net late on for the Swans, who finished the contest with nine men after two send offs.

I couldnt be happier for the playing group, they worked their socks off all year, Pitts coach Adam Israel said.

They are just relentless, we have an incredible desire to win.

We will now look to perform in the (NSW) Champion of Champions, the boys are keen to have a decent crack at it.

Seaforth won the Premier League reserve grade decider after outclassing St Augustine’s 5-0.
