Wakehurst PL team – in top 4

WAKEHURST are determined not to give Narrabeen an inch when the champions travel to Lionel Watts this Saturday.

Ross Talarico’s under siege squad have endured a nightmare start to 2017, picking up just one point from their first six games.

In stark contrast, the Tigers are flying, in the top four of the MWFA Premier League and they also won their FA Cup semi-final on Monday versus Seaforth.

“They (Narrabeen) still have plenty of good players,” Wakehurst coach Paul Juergens said.

“We don’t take anyone likely, you can’t in this competition.

“It will be our third game in a week, but the boys are feeling good.”

Other games see CC Strikers host Pittwater RSL FC, St Augustine’s tackle Dee Why, Manly Vale lock horns with Mosman and Seaforth do battle with Brookvale.
