Men's Premier League – Strikers hoping for more of the same

AL wak v cc strikers

CC Strikers coach Ryan Butcher is hoping for more of the same when his team take on Wakehurst at St Matthews Farm this Saturday.

Following their promotion, not many expected CC Strikers to trouble champions Narrabeen first up last weekend.

They didn’t skip a beat, easily winning 3-0 at Narrabeen Sports High.

“We were solid, but certainly are not getting carried away,” Butcher said.

“Wakehurst is another decent challenge for us, I saw a bit of them in the (FA) Cup recently and they were good.

“St Matts is in good nick, a win in our first home game would be great.”

Elsewhere, Seaforth host Manly Vale, Dee Why entertain Mosman, Brookvale lock horns with Narrabeen and Pittwater RSL FC line up against St Augustine’s.
