CHRIS Adams will be a huge asset for the Manly Warringah Football Association this year.
The Englishman is based at Cromer Park full-time, after taking on the Community Coach and Development Manager role.
Living at neighbouring Dee Why, Adams joins the MWFA after previously working with Football West in Perth.
“I am absolutely loving it,” he said.
“The passion for football in the area is obvious.
“I am looking forward to meeting plenty of people over the course of the season.”
Adams has no intention of offering his expertise purely from Cromer Park.
The 26-year-old plans to visit as many peninsula grounds as possible.
“It is vital I engage with the community,” he said.
“Some weeks it may be offering assistance to first time coaches in the under-6s, others in senior football.
“We will also look to run a few informal workshops and outline what we do via social media.”
Adams moved to Western Australia from the United Kingdom in 2012.
He has a Football Federation Australia (FFA) B Licence as well as being a FFA Coach Education Instructor.
