Last night saw Cromer Park come alive with the combined efforts of MWFA and Football NSW presenting the Annual Aldi Miniroos EXPO.

75 coaches from across the MWFA attended the Expo which is designed specifically for coaches training 5 to 9 year old players.

Coaches were put through model sessions for MiniRoos aged players that will give them the necessary tools and confidence to put on fun, safe and engaging football sessions.

Christopher Adams, newly appointed MWFA Community Coach Development Manager, commented that “it was great to see so many community coaches wanting to learn how to run fun, safe and enjoyable football sessions for their junior players.”

“A special thanks must also go to Oscar Gonzalez from Football NSW for coming down to facilitate the course and give his insight to the coaches.”

This is the first event of the year for the MWFA community coach development team so keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for further developments and initiatives in coming weeks.
