A HANDFUL of injuries has forced MWFA Select Squad coach Paul Juergens to introduce four new faces ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Manly United at Cromer Park.

Manly Allambie shot-stopper Robbie Brindle, St Augustine’s striker Josh Jacka-Easter, Pittwater RSL FC midfielder Max Bogunovic and Dee Why’s Calum Wilson have all been given an opportunity by the Wakehurst boss.

Brindle, who is part of the furniture at Millers Reserve, was humbled by the call up.

“It came from left field, I wasn’t expecting it,” he said.

“I haven’t played against Manly United before, it is a fantastic opportunity.

“Hopefully I can get out on the field at some stage, I’ve always wanted to play in this game.”

Manly Vale’s Tyson Masters, Dee Why’s Matt Cooper and Pittwater RSL FC’s Dean McCreath drop out of the squad.

Kick-off is 7pm and entry is free for spectators.
