VINCE Vescio’s Beacon Hill will secure the ladies MWFA Premier League title if they beat Manly Vale A this Sunday.

It is an achievement few thought possible after Vescio made a number of changes to his squad in the off-season.

“I am really happy with the mix of players we have,” Vescio said.

“It would be a fantastic achievement for the club, but Manly Vale A will be tough this round.

“Any team coached by Tony (Bruzzano) is well drilled, and they are hitting their straps at the right time of year.

“With (second placed) Brookvale to follow before the semis, a win would be very handy this weekend.”

Other games see Brookie take on Wakehurst and Avalon do battle with Seaforth.

Manly Vale B have the bye.
