Premier League | Round 12 Review

Narrabeen v MVale 664x399

NARRABEEN have opened up a four point lead in the MWFA Premier League after outclassing a stubborn Manly Vale 4-2 on Saturday.

Jakub Sklenar (2), Alex Woolley and Josh Lawson all found the back of the net at Narrabeen Sports High, in what was an end to end clash.

“We did enough, but Manly Vale certainly made a game of it,” Narrabeen skipper Mark Femia said.

“Going forward we need to be better in defence, we copped a couple of soft goals.

“Over the next few weeks we have a few more blokes back, so we are in a good spot.”

Other games saw Brookvale shock Pittwater RSL FC 3-1, Dee Why hammered Seaforth 5-1, Mosman beat Manly Allambie 3-1 and Wakehurst versus St Augustine’s finished 1-1.
