SEAFORTH will look to show the rest of the competition they are a genuine title contender when they host Brookvale on Sunday.
Mitch Paterson’s squad are in good form, beating Avalon (1-0) and Manly Vale A (2-1) in recent weeks.
“In round one Brookie beat us comfortably,” Paterson recalled.
“We were 3-0 down at halftime and responded well in the second half, but we couldn’t reel them in.
“If we can contain Gill Foster and Jemma Euers we should be OK, but that isn’t an easy task.”
Avalon take on Manly Vale A at Careel Bay in the only other league game of the round.
Wakehurst have the bye and Beacon Hill will enjoy the weekend off with Manly Vale B playing in the State Cup versus Balmain.
